Ambagan ("the App", "we", "us") is an expense-splitting app for groups, built by an independent developer based in the Philippines. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.

2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To let you create groups, add expenses, and split costs with others
- To send you push notifications about activity relevant to you
- To process and verify Pro subscription purchases
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following service providers to operate the App. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- RevenueCat — subscription purchase management
- Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing for subscriptions
- Expo — delivering push notifications
4. Data Sharing
Your name, photo, and expense activity are visible to other members of the groups you join — this is core to how the App works. We do not share your data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account and expense data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at lhester.monroyo.dev@gmail.com.
6. Children's Privacy
Ambagan is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
